(for english please scroll down) Fotografie ist für mich das Arbeiten mit Realitätsfragmenten, ist das Experimentieren mit dem Material im fotografischen analogen und digitalen Prozeß mit dem Ziel, in der Arbeit eine eigenständige, intensive und zugleich offene Verbindung zur Welt herzustellen; das Wilde, das Dunkle, das Ungreifbare, das Schöne im Bild wirksam bleiben oder werden zu lassen, in einer offenen, anregenden, überraschenden Form, ganz groß oder ganz klein.
For me photography means working with fragments of reality, experimenting with acquired material in an analogue or digital photographic process with the purpose of establishing a distinct and intense, yet also open connection to the world. Allowing all that is wild, dark, intangible and beautiful in an image to preserve or to achieve its impact, in an open, stimulating and surprising form, very large or very small.
