„Tageslichter“ ist eine Serie über den experimentellen Umgang mit Licht und lichtempfindlichen Fotopapieren und eröffnet damit auch den Zugang zu plastischen und malerischen Aspekten des konkret Fotografischen.
Licht ist die ‚Materia Prima’ der Fotografie und stellt die offene, uncodierte sowie unmittelbare Verbindung zwischen Mensch und Welt her. Im Fotogramm wird evident, wie Licht zu einem Bildgegenstand wird, der noch nicht als Motiv existiert.
“Tageslichter / Daylights” is an ongoing series that deals experimentally with light and light-sensitive photographic papers and hence also opens up access to sculptural and painterly aspects of the specifically photographic. Light is the ‘materia prima’ of photography and draws the open, uncoded, and direct link between human and world. A photogram reveals how light is made into a pictorial object that does not yet exist as a motif.
